Job summary

Sage Logistics is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated regional route based in Joliet, Illinois. This role offers weekly home time, competitive pay, modern equipment, and consistent freight.

Responsibilities include safe operation, on-time deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and accurate documentation. The position features home weekly schedules and a strong emphasis on driver well-being and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be able to meet FMCSA requirements.
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Must pass DOT drug screening and background check.
• Current DOT medical certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations staff.
