Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver II to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites in the United States. You will operate a range of trucks including vacuum tankers, with both manual and automatic transmissions, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travel.
• CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial Class A driving experience, including tanker experience.
• Acceptable driving record.
• REGIONAL OR HOME DAILY

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to transport goods/materials over long distances according to safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Administrative tasks and paperwork related to transportation of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and vehicle/equipment maintenance (i.e., manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, incident reports).
• Ensure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status and delays.
• Responsible for safety of fellow employees, clients and the public while operating company vehicles.
• Interpret maps and follow written/verbal directions.
• Complete additional assigned duties
