Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and tractor-trailer experience.
• Experience delivering on local routes and familiarity with Ohio traffic regulations.
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT safety rules and hazmat handling where qualified.
• Strong navigation skills and ability to plan efficient routes.
• Ability to load/unload freight and operate basic handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on local routes, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Load and unload freight with manual handling or equipment as needed.
• Navigate using GPS to optimize routes and schedules.
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations when qualified.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery and loading documentation.
• Secure freight and ensure proper cargo handling.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery expectations.
