Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking truck drivers for a dynamic role in Dayton, Ohio. Our program puts you on the road hauling cargo while bypassing traditional classroom training. You will learn from veteran drivers and gain the skills necessary for a successful trucking career.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 21 years old.
• Passing results on a standard DOT medical examination and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles under real traffic conditions.
• Maintain strict Hours-of-Service (HOS) compliance.
• Execute thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.

Skills

Class A CDL license

Driving record free of severe violations

Ability to utilize electronic logging device (ELD) software

Education

Completion of 120+ training hours at an approved truck driving school
