Job summary

AGK Logistics Inc. is seeking Regional CDL A drivers to join our family-run business, operating around 30 trucks.

We focus on automotive expedite services but also handle regular truckload freight frequently across the Midwest, including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa. Our drivers typically return home during the week and enjoy weekends off, with a dedicated Safety and Retention team to support them.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• FMCSA drug screening pass required.
• Solid PSP and MVR record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle with a valid CDL A license to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Manage the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Navigate regional routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
