Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A truck drivers with a Northeast operating area and a 5 on/2 off home weekly pattern. Expect weekly pay between $1,500 and $1,700 with about 2,100 miles per week. New grads receive paid orientation and driver-mentor training to learn the ropes.

Experienced drivers need at least 6 months of OTR or regional experience, a valid CDL A, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen. All logs must be maintained accurately and communications with dispatch kept clear.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Recent CDL A Truck Driving School Certificate of minimum 120 hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
