Job summary

American Driver LLC in Kankakee County is hiring Class A drivers for a regional dry van fleet that stays in Illinois, Iowa and Ohio and brings you home every week. Most trailers are preloaded and most deliveries are drop and hook, so your day is spent driving rather than waiting on a dock.

You will cover about 2,200 miles per week with pay around $0.60–$0.70 per mile, plus $25 stop pay and a weekly training pay of $685 during orientation.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older.
• CDL-A training (min 120 hours) or 6 months of OTR in last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive a regional dry van fleet in IL/IA/OH with weekly home time.
• Most loads are drop and hook; some live loads/unloads and occasional short runs to GA.
• Dispatch runs day and night; weekends may be worked; maintain safety compliance.
