Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking a CDL A regional driver to operate with weekly home time and a stable career path. The role involves 3 loads per week, 100% touch freight, and deliveries to AR, LA, TX, OK, TN, MS and surrounding states.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, logs, and maintain timely communications with dispatch. The position requires a valid CDL Class A, clean MVR, ability to pass a DOT drug screen, and strict adherence to driving rules, with no major CMV accidents in recent years

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Moving violations: no more than 3 in last 3 years.
• No major preventable accidents in CMV in last 5 years.
• No DUI in CMV ever; lifetime max 2 DUI's.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
• Driver unloads freight using roller conveyors.
