Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring Class A drivers for a Midwest regional fleet that stays within 400 miles of home. You run dry van freight through Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois, take your 34-hour restarts close to home, and average $1,000 to $1,300 a week. New CDL holders train with a mentor and earn $900 a week.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older.
• CDL-A training (min 120 hours) or 6 months OTR experience in last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• DOT physical and drug screening (hair and urine).

Responsibilities

• Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads.
• Day and night dispatch.
• Weekends are worked, and holidays when freight needs it.
• Your truck is assigned to you, automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old on average.
