American Wood Fibers is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products. We are seeking a Regional CDL A Truck Driver for our Jessup, MD facility to safely and efficiently deliver and pick up bulk and packaged materials to and from suppliers and customers.

This role offers daily home time and monthly bonuses. The position requires a High School Diploma, valid CDL A, clean driving record, and 1-2 years of driving experience with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A.
• Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, rolling tarps, and lifting heavy materials.
• Experience with trailer operations, including drop and hook, hose disconnection, and landing gear operation.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver or pick up bulk and packaged materials safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers and performing drop and hook operations.
• Maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher to establish and adjust trucking schedules and communicate updates.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Attend driver and safety meetings and participate in ongoing training.
