Job summary

American Driver in Florida is seeking a professional CDL driver for regional runs across Central and Southern Florida, based out of Ocala. You will deliver dry freight, maintain compliance with safety policies, and manage logs and paperwork weekly.

The role requires a Class A CDL, 6+ months of tractor-trailer experience, a clean MVR, and drug testing as part of the onboarding process. Regional home time with weekly guaranteed earnings is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ with a valid Class A CDL matching your residence state.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months (Max 2 jobs in the last year).
• Clean MVR: Max 2 moving violations & ZERO preventable accidents in the last 3-5 years (If under 23: max 1 violation in last 12 mos).
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Must pass mandatory hair follicle AND urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional routes in Central and Southern FL from the Ocala area.
• Maintain safe driving records and comply with company policies.
• Unload and deliver dry freight with modest manual handling (up to 50 lbs).
• Complete trip logs and reports in a timely manner.
