Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in St. Louis, MO, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. This role includes 40+ hours weekly, per diem, and bonuses; starters receive training and a path toward a long-term driving career.

Spots are filling fast; you will operate well-maintained trucks and follow safety protocols with support from a nationwide maintenance network. Endorsements and a strong safety record are highly valued by the team.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with endorsements required.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• DOT physical and road test required.
• Endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years or 5 years in the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
