Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A driver for a dedicated Dollar Tree route with home weekly. Expect about 1,100 miles per week across SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV and OH, with 3 loads and 3 stops each week. You will hand-unload using rollers and operate sleeper trucks with automatics on 53' dry vans.

The schedule features a 34-hour weekly restart and Friday night–Saturday or Saturday night–Sunday days off, with no-touch backhauls to the DC.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required.
• Comfortable handling touch freight.
• Able to hand-unload using rollers.
• Reliable and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive averages of ~1,100 miles per week on a dedicated Dollar Tree route.
• Handle 3 loads per week with 3 stops per load.
• Hand-unload trailers using rollers and operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions.
• No-touch live loads on backhauls to the distribution center.
• Route covers SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH.
• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions; park truck home if safe.
