Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Driver for a regional route based in Wichita, KS. Expect late model Freightliner trucks pulling 53’ reefers, with a focus on safe driving, reliable delivery, and professional customer service.

Anticipated home time is two days per week. Earnings potential is up to $100,000+ annually with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription, 401(k) and paid days off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1-year CDL Class A driving tractor trailer or reefer experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight over long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner.
