Job summary

Averitt Express is seeking Regional CDL-A truck drivers to join a team that emphasizes earning potential and driver support. You will operate regional routes primarily across the South and Midwest with 100% no-touch freight and strong home time.

Typical weekly pay is around $1,550, with pay by practical miles and additional stop, layover, breakdown, detention, hazmat load pay, and per diem. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, holidays, PTO, profit sharing, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to complete regional deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct accurate freight counts and complete fuel/ticket documentation.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance with home time.
• Adhere to company policies and road safety regulations.
