Qualifications

  • 3+ years in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related role supporting manufacturing/operations.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites or regional operations.
  • Experience with category management, contract administration, and supplier performance management.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Power BI); advanced Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support site procurement strategies aligned with business and category objectives.

Chemours, a global leader in industrial and specialty chemicals, invites you to join our team as a Regional Buyer in Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Support site procurement strategies aligned with business and category objectives.
  • Execute sourcing events, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, contract implementation, and procurement documentation.
  • Drive cost savings, TCO initiatives, and working capital improvements through strategic sourcing.

  • Analytical Skills: Leverage spend analysis, TCO principles, and data to identify savings opportunities.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements while managing supplier risk.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across functions, communicate effectively, and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem Solving & Agility: Respond quickly to supply disruptions and implement practical, business‑focused solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related commercial role supporting manufacturing or operations.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites or regional operations.
  • Experience in working with category management, contract administration, and supplier performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and the MS Office Suite (including Power BI); advanced Excel skills preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Experience with Ariba and SAP.
  • Strong communication skills, including planning, active listening, and negotiation.
  • Ability to support change management and continuous improvement.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to make sound commercial decisions under pressure using relevant evidence and good judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; strong cross‑functional collaboration and a team‑player mindset.

Pay Range (in local currency): $90,091.00 - $140,767.00

Chemours Level: 24 • Annual Bonus Target: 6%
