Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager in California to lead maintenance teams, develop strategies, and balance proactive planning with real-time problem solving. • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

About the Role:

As a Regional Area Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments in your region by leading dynamic maintenance teams that ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. • You will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance
• You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across your region
• You will design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs across your region that enhance operational efficiency, as well as manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high‑quality service standards
• You will monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and partner with applicable teams to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
• You will travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within your region

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
• 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, or Master's degree
• Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
• Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems
• Experience in project management
• Experience with statistical analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
