Bayer is seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Regional Account Director (RAD) to lead engagement with major health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), medical groups, and population health stakeholders across the Cleveland market.
This role will be responsible for driving access, adoption, and sustained utilization of Kerendia® while also preparing for and supporting the anticipated launch of a novel investigational therapy being studied for secondary stroke prevention. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Cleveland healthcare landscape, including organizations such as University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, and regional community systems.
Success in this role requires deep expertise in navigating complex health system decision-making, securing formulary and pathway inclusion, coordinating cross-functional implementation efforts, and driving system-wide pull-through to ensure appropriate patient access and utilization.
The Regional Account Director (RAD) is accountable to drive the strategic account plan in Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Accounts in the effort to unlock sales growth opportunities by removing any barriers to use in the setting of care. You will establish a comprehensive Strategic Account Business Plan aimed at creating long- and short-term sales growth and coordinates pull-through across other cross functional team members (across therapeutic area and roles) calling on the account. You will create Advocates and Champions throughout the Account by building strategic relationships with health system stakeholders and administrators.
The position will report into the Area General Manager, but will also collaborate with the National Account Directors, the Sales Team as well as Cross Functional partners in Market Access, HEOR, Marketing and Medical.
The span of coverage will be within the following Cleveland, Ohio and surrounding area. Travel up to 50% within the territory. The position is residence based. The candidate must be domiciled within the territory.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $161,216.80 to $241,825.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
