Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Region Rover Supervisor for a full-time role.

You will supervise Security Officers across client sites, enforce post orders, complete rounds, and file reports while coordinating with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met. Requirements include 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and solid computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid/appropriate judgment.
• Participation in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Driver Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and posted sites; ensure post orders are followed, complete rounds, file reports; notify authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coach and discipline personnel; document actions and seek management guidance as needed.
• Train Security Officers and staff; review post orders and assignment details.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions with management support.
• Prepare, file and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meet client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and deliver quality service.
• May perform Security Officer duties per post orders and policy.

45 Hours Per Week The Site Rover Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Region Rover Supervisor - Full Time

Primary Location: Santa Fe, NM

Base Wage: $22.00/HR

45 Hours Per Week The Site Rover Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

All travel time is paid at .76 per mile for SF residents. The mileage pay starts when the employee leaves their home to the time they return. Travel hourly to and from work is not common.

What You Can Expect

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
