Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiac Sonographer to evaluate anatomy and pathophysiology of the cardiac system through diagnostic ultrasound. The role supports ARDMS Registry exam readiness and adheres to Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.

Requirements include an Associates Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or related field, current CPR, and progress toward ARDMS credential within 36 months.

Qualifications

• Evaluation of anatomy and pathophysiology of the cardiac system using diagnostic ultrasound.
• Ability to learn the knowledge base required for ARDMS Registry examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound studies of the cardiac system.
• Maintain compliance with Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards: Safety, Courtesy, Quality, Efficiency.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to support patient care and workflow.

Licensure/Certification/Registry: – Work toward successful completion of the registry examination of the ARDMS is required. – New sonographers will have 36 months from date of hire to obtain the proper credential. (RDCS for cardiac, RVT for vascular). – Current CPR certification. Experience: – Previous health care setting experience preferred.
