Job summary

LeBlanc Pacific is seeking a Refrigeration Technician at various levels to maintain refrigeration systems on fishing vessels and industrial facilities. The technician will install, troubleshoot, and repair systems, serving as a key liaison between the company and customers.

The position offers an excellent compensation package with benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401k after 60 days. Ideal candidates have mechanical abilities, industry knowledge, and are willing to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience on fishing fleet preferred.
• Journeyman License is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, service and maintain refrigeration systems.
• Track time spent on jobs and complete service orders.
• Serve as a liaison between the company and the customer.

Job Description

• Track time spent on jobs and completing service orders and filing billing sheets.
• Serve as a professional and maintain the liaison between the company and the customer.

Required Skills

• Mechanical ability and working knowledge of marine or industrial refrigeration and automation systems. Experience on fishing fleet preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in the field of ammonia/CO2 as a refrigerant is preferred.
• Working comfortably on boats and over water. Journeyman License is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.
• Organized, professional mindset working as a team player.
• Compliancy with safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical attributes to perform the work on job site.

Work Hours: Flexible with seasonal overtime
