Job summary

A leading integrated professional services firm is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer responsible for designing and preparing plans for supermarket refrigeration systems. Key responsibilities include system design, preparing specifications, and performing field inspections. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of HVACR experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. This position includes a generous benefits package and requires some travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVACR, construction or engineering design services industry.
• Experience reviewing refrigeration systems, cycles and controls related to commercial or industrial refrigerants.
• Ability to travel 10-20% (overnight travel required).

Responsibilities

• Design refrigeration systems including pipe sizing and layout.
• Prepare plans and specifications for refrigeration systems.
• Conduct field inspections of existing refrigeration equipment.
