Job summary

Climate Pros seeks a Start-Up Technician to install, start-up, troubleshoot, and repair supermarket refrigeration systems across displays, walk-ins, and rack systems. You will perform pre-start prep, tests, evacuation, and commissioning, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.

The role requires travel between sites, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Eligible candidates must have EPA certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 7+ years of supermarket refrigeration/freezer experience.
  • Universal EPA Certification required.
  • Experience with Novar, CPC, Danfoss, Micro-Thermo, RDM, and other Energy Management Controls and Rack Refrigeration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration systems.
  • Communicate issues with leadership or customers and own resolutions.
  • Maintain high-quality customer service and care.
  • Provide timely hand-off and commissioning of projects.
  • Document detailed notes and pictures in dispatches.
