Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Refrigeration Systems Quality Engineer to own the QA of commercial refrigeration across design, construction and commissioning for multiple sites in NA. You will inspect, verify commissioning, and ensure conformance to plans, codes, and Amazon standards while partnering with GC, AoR, and design teams.

You will also supervise IOQ, performance tests, and defect prevention, with about 80% travel within North America.

Formación

• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• 4+ years in refrigeration industry or reliability/maintenance environments.
• 5+ years in commercial/industrial refrigeration: installation, commissioning, inspection or maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/R or related STEM field.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field inspections of installed refrigeration systems to verify conformance to plans and standards.
• Witness IOQ and performance tests, review commissioning submittals and turnover docs.
• Validate CO₂ monitoring and alarm systems under real field conditions.
• Review design documents for conformance and define acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with contractors/engineers and drive quality improvements across sites.
