Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of related experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical piping.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Strong copper brazing and soldering skills are highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work site for obstructions and structural integrity.
• Plan installations or repairs to avoid obstructions.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes as required.
• Assemble and install metal and non-metal pipes and fittings.
• Connect pipes using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets and supports.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures per OSHA and safety rules.
• Set up and operate pipe cutting, bending, and threading equipment.
• Bend, cut, thread, and install pipe per specifications.
• Drill holes, mount pipes, and test hydraulic pressure of installations.
