Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Vernon, CA to support our facility operations. The role involves hands-on maintenance of electrical systems, refrigeration components, and building infrastructure, with a focus on preventive and corrective actions to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will diagnose equipment issues, complete repairs, document activities in CMMS, and work with contractors as needed while adhering to safety procedures.

• Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Conduct equipment inspections, identify potential issues, and communicate findings and repair needs to leadership.
• Follow all safety procedures and electrical codes; work with contractors as needed.
• Perform work at elevated heights, including roof work, following safety procedures.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Are you an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping facility operations running smoothly? Join Lineage as a Maintenance Technician and play an important role in maintaining the equipment, refrigeration systems, electrical components, and building infrastructure that support our operations. In this hands‑on role, you’ll use your technical skills to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and complete repairs across a variety of systems. We’re especially interested in candidates with strong electrical and industrial maintenance experience. Experience with Freon refrigeration is helpful, and ammonia refrigeration knowledge is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Work with contractors as needed to support safe maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform work at elevated heights, including roof work, while following required safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, or a related technical field.
• Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills; experience working with systems up to 480volts is beneficial.
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or facility equipment.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and work order documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the maintenance team.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to document work accurately.
• A commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
• Comfort working at heights and performing roof work as part of regular job responsibilities.

Additional Experience (Helpful, Not Required)

• Industrial refrigeration experience, particularly Freon systems.
• Ammonia or CO₂ refrigeration knowledge.
• Forklift or other material handling equipment maintenance.
• Experience reading electrical schematics or Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Refrigeration Operator I, CARO, or equivalent training.
• Candidates who do not yet have this qualification may have the opportunity to complete it after hire.
• Relevant hands‑on experience, trade school, and related technical training will all be considered.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on maintenance position that includes working at heights and on rooftops. The role may involve lifting at least 40 pounds, operating motorized lifts, exposure to varying noise levels and temperatures, and wearing required personal protective equipment. Candidates should be comfortable performing these duties safely.

Pay Range

$29.13 - $49.13
