Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Refrigeration/Maintenance Technician to oversee service calls for assigned stores in the Hutchinson area. You will work with a team to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and help manage store inventory.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules with leadership, supporting major repairs, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant licenses required.
• Relocate to specified zones.
• Ability to travel independently.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; learn new computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in maintenance or related school training.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance schedules for assigned stores in coordination with the lead.
• Assist refrigeration tech team with major repairs to store systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, repair, rebuild or replace electronic, electrical, refrigeration and mechanical parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks at stores.
• Maintain and manage inventory for truck stock.
• Ensure sanitation of work areas according to standards.
