Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a mid- to senior-level refrigeration design engineer to contribute across six market sectors including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. The role integrates engineering expertise with on-site experience from Henderson Building Solutions to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering preferred, with 3 years of relevant experience; or 5 years without a degree.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and designs for basic to advanced engineering systems independently.
• Prepare electrical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Research and recommend feasibility of systems or equipment, evaluating product suitability.
• Assist with developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers to support business development and pursuit activities.
• Seek continuous learning in industry software such as Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products.
• Support or be responsible for project coordination activities, including managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, attending client meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery.
• Act as a resource for training or assisting others as needed.
