Job summary

Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing's Service Department in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair refrigerated trailers and related mechanical/electrical systems. The role emphasizes autonomy, accuracy and customer communication.

You'll perform major and minor repairs, manage parts and inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A minimum 3 years in mechanical repairs and a Class B CDL (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigerated trailers and refrigeration systems required.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair refrigerated trailers and related mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform major and minor repairs accurately, efficiently, and per procedures.
• Inspect equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related concerns.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customers with repair-status updates.
• Complete repairs independently or under supervision depending on complexity.
• Manage parts, tools, equipment, and inventory used during repairs.
