Job summary

Mr. Greens is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Austin, Texas operations. You will drive a 16 or 24-foot box truck on established routes, deliver fresh produce to customers, and provide friendly, reliable service.

This role requires at least 1 year of truck driving, a valid license, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a cold storage environment. Overtime and weekend shifts are included in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Availability on weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to work independently using a Mr. Greens Delivery Truck 16 or 24-foot Truck.
• At least 1 year of truck/box truck driving experience.
• Experience in route delivery logistics; produce delivery experience preferred.
• Able to do second runs (second route in the same day) and overtime.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• 21+ years old.
• Able to understand and read street signs in the state in which Mr. Greens operates.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb on/off box of the truck, and endure cold storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mr. Greens Delivery vehicle 16 or 24-foot Box Truck.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
• Unload products utilizing a pallet jack.
• Provide onsite customer service - review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs and that they are satisfied with our products and service.
• Effectively communicate with dispatchers, customer service and leadership team regarding delays, unsafe routes, accidents, and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Properly and promptly report defective equipment.
