Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Roanoke Rapids, NC, is seeking a packaging associate to support the end of the manufacturing line by checking boxes, sealing, weighing and ensuring date accuracy. The role requires standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, and adherence to GMP and safety guidelines in a refrigerated plant.

Qualifications

• Production or assembly experience is preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Checks for correct packaging boxes and containers.
• Ensures product date and weight are within established guidelines.
• Seals filled product packages and boxes.
• Examines containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging meet company specifications.
• Removes defective products or packages from the production line.
• Assembles product containers on an assembly line.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
