Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Refreshments Operator I to provide outstanding service at client sites. You will stock products, ensure equipment is working, clean, and inform clients of new offers during visits.

Responsibilities include unloading and stocking inventory, managing orders and client invoicing with a laptop, and maintaining strong relations with customer staff. Travel to additional locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a role requiring customer service and interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organization/time management are essential

• Manage ordering, delivery, and stocking at the client location
• Inform customers about new offers and assist with product interest
• Use a laptop to manage PAR levels, orders, and invoicing
• Perform repairs as needed and call in orders to head office
• Distribute promotional materials and merchandize products
• Clean equipment and exchange decanters on visits
• Communicate with Route Sales Manager/General Manager about issues and competition
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

Job Description

The Refreshments Operator I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring that our customers' products are stocked appropriately. Ensure that customers' equipment is always operating properly, cleaned, and notify them of any new offers that may be of interest to them. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site, ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes
• Manage the ordering, delivery, and stocking of items at client location
• Communicate with customer's employees about new product interest
• Use a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing
• Performs repairs to best of ability.
• Calls in orders and service calls to head office.
• Distributes promotional materials and merchandises complete product line.
• Cleans equipment and exchanges decanters on each visit.
• Communicates with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reports on pending problems or on evidence of competitors in customer locations.
• Establishes and maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Client interaction, communication, organization/time management are critical to the success of this role.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing demands.
• Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Must be willing to travel to other locations to assist with short notice.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
