Job summary

The Systems Group in Osceola, AR seeks a Refractory Laborer to install, repair and maintain heat-resistant linings in high-temperature equipment. This role supports the day-to-day operations and contributes to long-term safety and productivity initiatives.

You will work 5 days with day/night shifts; pay is $26 per hour plus a $150 per diem. Candidates must have refractory labor experience and strong safety record, and you must pass drug, pulmonary and fit tests.

Qualifications

• Previous Refractory Labor experience required.
• Excellent Safety Record. Safety is our # 1 priority
• Proficiency in masonry, welding, and understanding specialized materials like ceramic fiber and castable refractories
• Knowledge of Structural fitting and Fabrication
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to pass Pulmonary & Fit test

Responsibilities

• Lining and relining industrial vessels such as ladles, tundishes, and melters using heat-resistant bricks, minerals, or ceramic fibers
• Mixing and Handling specialized refractory materials like concrete, gunite, and mortar
• Removing damaged or old refractory linings using specialized tools like chipping guns and rivet busters
• Operating industrial machinery such as brick saws, forklifts, jib cranes, and mixers
• Performing preventive maintenance on tools and refractory‑lined units

Pay: $26/Hour $150/Day Per Diem

Hours: 5 Day Duration Day/Night Shifts

Refractory Laborer: A specialized construction or industrial worker responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining heat‑resistant linings in high‑temperature equipment like furnaces, kilns, and boilers.

Laborer Responsibilities
