The Manor Golf & Country Club - Milton, GA

Reformer Pilates Instructor

The Reformer Pilates Instructor is responsible for planning and conducting results-oriented Reformer Pilates classes for Members, providing leadership and guidance in the studio through attentiveness to each Member's exercise needs. Reports directly to the Fitness Director.

Day To Day

• Maintain a service-oriented environment within the Reformer Pilates studio, through the personal recognition of Members and in providing Members with the safest and most effective regimen in helping them achieve their fitness goals.
• Provide leadership and inspire confidence in the Reformer Pilates area, serving as a fitness role model.
• Design class curricula using current Pilates trends and popular formats.
• Regularly update sequences and class playlists.
• Attend continuing education opportunities made available through various partners.
• Complete all class administrative work as required in the operating standards.
• Maintain the studio equipment in good working condition and restock supplies as needed.
• Foster Member connections through ongoing contact, promotion of club activities, and encouraging interaction both in and out of class.
• Promote the facility amenities, programs, and the Club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies and standards of the club.
• Perform close of business functions following guidelines and procedures established by the Club.
• Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas to meet Club standards.
• Notify Fitness Director of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur and rectify them as soon as possible.

Other Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of tasks across the club as needed, providing help to and receiving help from other employees.
• Adhere to all written mandatory standards of operations, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with proper grammar.
• Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain good conduct and safe working habits in all areas.
• Wear a clean and neat uniform that follows Arcis Golf and club standards.

Qualifications

Work Experience: Experience as a Reformer Pilates instructor.

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Certification/Licence: CPR, First Aid and AED, and certification as a Reformer Pilates instructor with PMA, Balanced Body, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, exposure to temperature changes, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, talking, hearing, and seeing.

Primary Tools / Equipment

Reformer machines, Pilates equipment.

Attendance Requirements

Attendance Requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule. Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.
