Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Refinish Technician in Waco, TX. You will thoroughly mix, color match, and refinish vehicles to restore pre-accident condition, while maintaining safety standards and team collaboration.

Minimum 2-5+ years in collision repair is required; I-CAR or ASE certifications are a bonus. You will support the paint department, meet production KPIs, and contribute to a safe, high-quality rebuild of customer vehicles.

• 2-5+ years of collision repair experience.
• Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
• I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review body work for quality and completeness as it arrives in the paint department
• Thoroughly mix, color match, and refinish each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition
• Complete all refinish operations as described in the work order
• Efficiently use and maintain paint material inventory
• Consistently utilize all required safety equipment, properly dispose of hazardous waste
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
• Work in harmony with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description:

Gerber Collision & Glass - LASalle - Waco, TX 4-5 years minimum collision auto refinishing experience required Position Overview The Refinish Technician’s primary responsibility includes providing an exceptional and successful customer experience through meticulous refinishing to ensure a quality refinished repair of each customer’s vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition. The Refinish Technician thoroughly mixes, color matches and refinishes each vehicle while playing a pivotal role toward Gerber’s promise of speed, quality and customer excellence. The Refinish Technician works in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility’s KPIs and is committed to being a dedicated Brand Ambassador of Gerber Collision & Glass at all times. Gerber Collision is dedicated to providing a safe work environment for all of our employees and our Refinish Technicians are provided with PAPR Systems to keep them safe and comfortable.

Compensation Details:

• Pay ranges $80,000 to $130,000 + Flat Rate Hourly pay
• Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience
• In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay:

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
