Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Refinish Technician at our Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX location. The role focuses on meticulous refinishing to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, including color matching and safe, efficient operation within the team.

Minimum 2-5+ years in collision repair; I-CAR or ASE certifications are a bonus. The position offers a path to contribute to KPIs and brand excellence, with comprehensive benefits and a team-centered culture.

Responsibilities

• Review body work for quality and completeness as it arrives in the paint department
• Thoroughly mix, color match, and refinish each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition
• Complete all refinish operations as described in the work order
• Efficiently use and maintain paint material inventory
• Consistently utilize all required safety equipment, properly dispose of hazardous waste
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
• Work in harmony with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description:

2 to 3 years minimum collision Auto Refinishing & experience required

Position Overview

The Refinish Technician 's primary responsibility includes providing an exceptional and successful customer experience through meticulous refinishing to ensure a quality refinished repair of each customer's vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition. The Refinish Technician thoroughly mixes, color matches and refinishes each vehicle while playing a pivotal role toward Gerber's promise of speed, quality and customer excellence. The Refinish Technician works in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs and is committed to being a dedicated Brand Ambassador of Gerber Collision & Glass at all times. Gerber Collision is dedicated to providing a safe work environment for all of our employees and our Refinish Technicians are provided with PAPR Systems to keep them safe and comfortable.

Compensation Details:

Compensation:

• Pay ranges $80,000 to $130,000 +
• Flat Rate Hourly pay
• Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience
• In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.
• Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
