The Refining Laboratory Technician will report to the Laboratory Supervisor and performs accurate, timely laboratory testing, operates and maintains equipment, and documents results, samples, and test data, to support Refinery production in making quality products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. Rotating shift work is required, including potential for mandatory overtime when conditions warrant. Relocation is not approved for this position. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs analytical testing with strict adherence to standard operating procedures, generating highly accurate and timely results.* Conducts routine tests, measurements analyses, and preparations in accordance with established methods and procedures. Operates laboratory equipment as part of testing requirements. Records results of the tests and arranges data for review and analysis. Completes routine calculations and reports.* Inputs, submits and receives computer data.
