Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio, invites motivated Electrical Engineering students to join as co-op interns. You will gain hands-on experience with Electrical & Instrumentation projects in a refinery, collaborating with professionals who run critical refining processes and equipment.

You will develop project management and presentation skills, contribute to process controls initiatives, and gain broad refinery exposure across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship
• Positions available spring, summer, and fall semesters
• Availability for multiple work terms preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program
• Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Engineers work on real-world electrical and instrumentation projects in a refinery setting.
• Develop project management skills including scope alignment, cost and schedule development, and teamwork through multiple engineering phases.
• Reliability Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineers troubleshoot issues, analyze failures, and support maintenance strategies.
• Process Control / Technical Service Engineers support refinery control systems across process areas and product movements.
