Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, OH and various refinery locations invites talented Chemical Engineering students to join as co-ops. You will work with a team of professionals to gain hands-on experience across process equipment, technical services, and refinery operations while developing your written and verbal communication skills.

This part-time internship offers exposure to process/technical service projects, operations research, environmental, and products control/economics

Qualifications

• Majoring in Chemical Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for spring, summer, and fall semesters.
• Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program.
• Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn process equipment fundamentals and best practices in a refinery setting.
• Work with a team to understand operations across refinery areas.
• Develop written and verbal presentation skills in a professional setting.
• Participate in projects in Process/Technical Service, Operations Research, Environmental, and Economics areas.
