Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) is seeking a Refining Reliability Analytics Engineer in Findlay, Ohio to develop and sustain analytics that improve refinery equipment reliability and process performance. You will work with process engineers, data scientists, and IT to move concepts from exploration to production assets.

The role requires hands-on model development, experience with time-series, anomaly detection, and tools like PI and Seeq.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with analytics experience.
• Experience applying statistical modeling or time-series to industrial data.
• Strong Python or R and SQL knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and sustain models for equipment and process health.
• Translate data models into practical reliability strategies and KPIs.
• Collaborate with refinery teams and provide training on AHM tools.
• Benchmark industry trends and implement program enhancements.
