Job summary

Austin Industrial in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support refinery maintenance, capital projects, and turnaround activities. You will operate heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, and material handling while upholding safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial experience, ability to read site plans and work packages, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience in an industrial or refinery environment.
• Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy equipment.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening, background check, and physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, and compactors.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling.
• Load, transport, and unload materials and supplies.
• Complete pre-use inspections and document equipment status.
• Follow safety requirements and participate in JSAs and training.
