Marathon Petroleum is seeking an Economics & Planning Advisor/Engineer in Catlettsburg, KY to develop LP-based economic plans, analyze refinery economics, and translate insights into actionable operating plans. Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum 2 years in refinery operations, planning, optimization, or scheduling.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsabilidades
- Develops and runs LP-based economic plans for refinery or system scope to evaluate crude selection and product placement.
- Analyzes refinery-level operating economics, market inputs, and constraints to identify margins.
- Translates model outputs into executable refinery operating plans with scheduling/operations teams.
- Provides technical direction for refinery economic models ensuring realistic constraints and yields.
- Communicates forward operating assumptions to planners and leadership for forecasting decisions.
