Job summary

Ability Plus Therapy, Inc. is seeking a Referral Specialist to grow and nurture our pediatric referral network in Melbourne, FL.

You will educate providers, schools, and community partners about pediatric rehabilitation, coordinate referrals, and ensure smooth client transitions. You will work with a collaborative clinical team to track trends, report data, and support quality care for children and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a referral or outreach role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for helping children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to generate referrals.
• Educate potential referral sources about our services and the benefits of pediatric rehabilitation.
• Coordinate and manage the referral process, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.
• Track and report referral data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
• Front desk duties including patient check-in, collecting payments, answering main phone line.
• Assist scheduler to create and confirm daily appointments.

Our team provides pediatric PT, OT, ST and intensive suit therapy.
