Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule outside referral appointments as directed by PCP.
• Keep accurate logs of all appointments.
• Document in logs: location of appointment, name and specialty of doctor, date.
• Document referral appointments in patient records.
• Send all appropriate paperwork to specialists and obtain insurance authorization.
• Check referral voicemail regularly and address requests appropriately.
• Perform general office duties requiring communication and organizational skills.
• Consult with patient regarding scheduling appointment times as needed.
• Verify patient address and phone number; complete medical referrals.
• Fax all pertinent referral information such as history, labs, last visit.

Requirements

1. Graduated from accredited school, and High School diploma/G.E.D.

Responsibilities

Referrals

Other Duties

1. This position also requires the ability to work at a computer workstation, and some knowledge of a key board. From time to time, it also requires the ability to work long and arduous hours.

Salary Range $19.23-24.19
