Job Summary:
We are seeking a Reefer Mechanic to join our team at our Edgerton, Kansas location. This position is responsible for performing maintenanceand repairs on reefer containers. This is a 1st shift position, working the hours ofMonday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Overtime opportunities may be available basedon the business needs of the shop.
Reefer Mechanic Duties:
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex issues withrefrigeration units
- Inspects equipment for defects and completesnecessary repairs
- Monitors temperatures of reefer containers
- Performs routine maintenance on the reefer unitsand electrical systems
- Maintains accurate record of work performed byentering all tasks into TMW software
