Job summary

Cedent is seeking a data engineer to lead a critical migration from Hadoop to Amazon Redshift in a U.S. contract role. You will design and implement ETL pipelines, validate data quality, and ensure scalable data warehousing solutions throughout the transition.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of data engineering experience, deep SQL and Redshift proficiency, and a proven track record in ETL-based data integration. Hadoop-to-Redshift migration experience is a strong plus for this engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL with Redshift experience.
• Ability to work independently in a focused environment.
• Extensive experience with Amazon Redshift.
• Strong ETL/data integration and data warehousing background.
• Experience in Hadoop-to-Redshift migrations is a plus.
