Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct offensive cybersecurity operations for U.S. Government and DoD systems. You will work with Blue Team personnel to strengthen cyber posture while ensuring compliance and security best practices.

At minimum, an ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required, with Top Secret and SCI eligibility preferred. US citizenship is required for access to sensitive information and security investigations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software engineering applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows in enterprise networks.
• Experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud and VR/VM environments helpful.
• Security certifications highly valued (OSCP, GPEN, CISSP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing and offensive cyber operations for DoD systems.
• Collaborate with blue teams to improve security posture.
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance.
• Support red team exercises and test planning.
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats and exploits.
