Position Type: Regular Full Time
Plans and directs the center-wide program services with broad oversight of program activities. Plans, develops, trains and provides daily supervision of program operations, volunteers and staff. Performs and monitors a variety of programmatic administrative duties to support program operations. Ensures all programs are operated in a safe manner and positively impact the lives of youth through activities and services that measurably and progressively move youth individually to attain positive outcomes. May be required to transport youth center members and staff to/from center and approved activities and events. Participates in the Salvation Army’s ministry advancement by collaborating with the Salvation Army Officers to ensure Red Shield Youth Centers provide an engaging, enriching and empowering environment where youth develop Christ-like character, preparing them to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Education and Experience:
Position requires regular business hours, afternoon, evening, nights, and weekends as needed to provide oversight to programs, attend events and address urgent matters.
