Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The role emphasizes scalable, secure platform operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of container platform experience.
• 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
• Experience with CI/CD and scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD).
• Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
• Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
• Collaborate with development teams, optimize workloads, and mentor junior engineers.

Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

• Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps, and regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
