Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Recycling Operations FE Manager to oversee a broad set of production departments including stockpiling, shearing, torching, and shiploading. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost control while guiding plant performance and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will forecast and direct production, manage budgets, and coordinate with safety and maintenance teams to optimize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years manufacturing experience, with 2-5 years managerial experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing a work crew; unionized environment a plus.
• This position requires possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments (Stockpiling, Shearing, Torching, Baling, Shiploading, Container Loading, Scale Operations) and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and production plans; monitor performance.
• Maintain port security and coordinate with regulatory agencies; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Supervise employees; ensure training and HR compliance; manage reports and performance reviews.
